Meeting at Larnaca airport and departure with a direct flight to Warsaw. Arrival, reception by our representatives and transfer to the hotel. Colorful buildings in the renovated historic center, lush parks, cozy boulevards, interesting cultural life. The charm of Warsaw is hidden in contradictory images that reveal the youthful face of a laid-back megalopolis. Polish cuisine is influenced by Central European cuisines and is not known for its lightness. Don't miss a visit to a mleczny bar – it's a trend. Although the name means something like milk bars, these are unpretentious restaurants, communist-era canteens where you will taste simple local cuisine and standard dishes such as pierogi, cabbage soup and borscht soup. Night.
In the walking tour that follows we will see, among others, the Royal Castle and the Castle Square - with the famous Sigismund Column and the Grand Theater, which houses the opera and ballet, the baroque Krasinski Palace which is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, the Royal Gardens, and the Jewish Ghetto. We will also see the house of Marie Kozlovka Curie who was awarded the Nobel Prize and the statue of Frédéric Chopin. We will walk through the beautiful and unique Lasiensky Park with its palace on the water. Here you will see peacocks, squirrels and ducks. Finally, we will see the monumental Palace of Culture and Science, a gift from Stalin to Warsaw. Night.
Breakfast and free day. You can enjoy Warsaw's local cuisine, or have a drink or a cool beer in one of the city's various bars on one of its skyscrapers. We suggest you visit the underground and most alternative corner of the city, the 'Prague district'. There you will have the opportunity to see a more artistic side of the city with galleries, cultural venues, antique shops and various bars. For families, we recommend the fascinating 'Copernicus Science Center'. This is an interactive museum, in which you can not only see, but also participate in activities. Kids will love it and you'll be thrilled!
Breakfast and transfer to the airport to take the return flight.
