Kastoria – Ioannina – Thessaloniki

Breakfast and visit to the 7000-year-old lakeside settlement of Dispilio, the oldest Neolithic settlement in Europe. We will also visit the Dragon Cave, the Monastery of Mavriotissa, and the Wax Model Museum, which revives Greek customs and traditions. Free time in the city of Kastoria, followed by a visit to the Prespa Lakes National Park in the afternoon. We will visit the village of Agios Germanos, with its 11th-century church, and the village of Psarades on the shores of Big Prespa Lake. In the center of Small Prespa Lake, we’ll visit Saint Achilleios Island, with its ruins of an 11th-century church. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Breakfast and departure for Ioannina. Our first stop will be in Metsovo, followed by a visit to the Vreli Museum with its wax figures. Upon arrival in Ioannina, we will visit the Castle, where the main attractions are located. Then, we will board a boat at the quay to visit the famous Island of Kyra-Frosyni in Lake Pamvotis. We will visit the Monastery of Saint Panteleimon, where Ali Pasha sought refuge, and the Monastery of Saint Nicholas of Philanthropin (13th century). We will walk along the picturesque cobblestone streets. Free time and return to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Breakfast and departure for Monodendri, one of the most popular villages of Zagorohoria. Free time to walk along the cobbled path leading to the Monastery of Saint Paraskevi, at the edge of the Vikos Gorge. We will continue to Kallpaki and visit the War Museum. Next stop will be Konitsa, where we will visit the Konitsa Bridge over the Aoos River, a symbol of the town, and see traditional stone houses and old mansions. Free time and return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will have a full-day excursion to the western coasts of Greece. Our first stop will be at the Acheron Springs, with free time to walk along the lush paths. Then, we will go to the river's mouth to enjoy a boat ride along the mythical Acheron River. We will then head to the picturesque town of Parga, where we will have free time for lunch and to stroll through the narrow streets leading to the castle, offering a unique view of the scenic bay and the beautiful Panagia Island. Return to the hotel.

Breakfast and departure from the beautiful Ioannina. Our first stop will be at Meteora, where we will visit one of the monasteries and enjoy panoramic views of the Thessalian Plain. Next stop will be Kalamba for lunch. We will continue to Thessaloniki with intermediate stops for coffee. Arrival in Thessaloniki in the late afternoon, check-in at the hotel. Free time for the rest of the day.

Breakfast and city tour of Thessaloniki, where we will visit the main attractions. We will then head up to Ano Poli to see the Fortress, offering a panoramic view of the city. On the way down, we will stop at the Saint Demetrius Church. In the evening, we recommend an optional dinner with live music.

Breakfast and transfer to Thessaloniki airport for the return flight to Larnaca.
