Summer in Warsaw – 5 Days

Breakfast and city tour. Warsaw is a sophisticated city located on the banks of the Vistula River, full of sights and monuments that, although completely destroyed during World War II, were rebuilt with faithful and detailed replicas based on historical documents, sketches, paintings, and photographs, restoring both the old and the new city of Warsaw. We start with the huge, lush "Łazienki" park, designed in the 17th century, which includes lakes and beautiful buildings, such as the famous Royal Palace "Palace on the Water" and the "Chopin" monument dedicated to the great Polish composer. We continue to the Warsaw Ghetto Heroes Monument, which was the largest of all the Nazi ghettos during World War II, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Next, we will pass by the Palace of Science and Culture and end up in the Old Town where we will see, among other things, Sigismund’s Column, the Mermaid statue, and the central square surrounded by beautiful colorful buildings, cafes, and restaurants, which is a gathering place for locals. We will finish the tour at the house where Maria Skłodowska-Curie, the first woman to win two Nobel Prizes (in Physics & Chemistry), was born in 1867. The rest of the day is free for you. For those interested, we recommend a visit to the Royal Castle of the city. Overnight stay.

Breakfast and free days at your disposal. We recommend strolling through the Old Town, especially the central square Rynek Starego Miasta, surrounded by beautiful colorful buildings, cafes, and restaurants. Don’t miss trying local specialties like traditional Pierogi, dumplings filled with meat, cheese, or mushrooms, various types of soups, and the famous pork knuckle. The impressive Zloty Tarasy shopping center awaits for your shopping. Overnight stay.

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for the return flight to Larnaca.
