For chartered services, cruises, skiing, exhibitions, conferences, and similar international events, cancellation fees can reach up to 100% of the total cost, regardless of the notice date.
Departure from Larnaca Airport and flight to Thessaloniki. Arrival and transfer to Kavala, where we’ll have free time for lunch and sightseeing. Next, we’ll stop at Lake Vistonida and the picturesque Porto Lagos with the Panagia Pantanassa and St. Nicholas Church, located on two small islands in the lagoon, connected by a wooden bridge. Arrival in Komotini in the late afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and free time.
After breakfast, early departure to the border station at Evros. Passport control and departure for the charming Istanbul. First, we’ll visit the holy spring of Panagia Balıklı, where the legend of the monk and the fish associated with the fall of the city unfolds. Next, we’ll head to the Byzantine land walls of Theodosius and visit the Panagia Blachernae, where the "Akathist Hymn" was sung. Check-in at the hotel. Free time for dinner in the restaurants of Pera.
After breakfast, we depart for the dock of Bostancı, crossing the famous first suspension bridge of the Bosporus to the Asian side of Istanbul. After boarding the ferry, we head to Heybeliada Island, where we will visit the Holy Trinity Church and the Theological School. Afterwards, we sail to Büyükada, where we stroll through its charming streets. For lunch, we suggest dining at a seaside tavern. On the way back, we’ll pass through the famous Baghdad Avenue on the Asian side of Istanbul, one of the most modern and expensive streets. Visit to the Dolmabahçe Palace, the last and possibly the most luxurious residence of the Ottoman sultans. Next, we stop at Ortaköy, a picturesque village by the sea, with free time for a drink and a walk. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, we begin by visiting the main Byzantine and Ottoman landmarks. We start at the Hippodrome, Sultan Ahmet Square, where we’ll see the Blue Mosque with its impressive six minarets, and the magnificent Hagia Sophia. We continue to the Topkapi Palace, a unique museum with royal weapons, jewels, and luxurious clothing. After free time for lunch, we’ll visit the Basilica Cistern, an ancient water reservoir and one of the most impressive sights of the city. Later, we explore the Grand Bazaar, which houses over 4,000 shops. Free time to shop. Late afternoon return to the hotel
After breakfast, we take a walk along Istiklal Avenue, one of the most famous streets in Istanbul, with historical buildings, shops, and cafes. We start from Taksim Square and end at Galata, passing historical landmarks like the Holy Trinity Church and the Sismanogleio Mansion. Next, we take a Bosphorus cruise, passing the palaces of Dolmabahçe, Çırağan, and Beylerbeyi, the beautiful bridges, and the Rumeli Fortress. We return to Eminönü for a visit to the famous Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Market). Free time to shop or enjoy local food at small restaurants. Return to the hotel, and in the evening, we recommend visiting the stylish Nisantasi district.
After breakfast, we visit the Orthodox Patriarchate, the site of the martyrdom of Patriarch Gregory V, and the Church of St. George, with its beautiful altar and rare icons. We walk through the historic Fener district to the Great School of the Nation and enjoy a coffee at one of the nearby cafes. Early afternoon departure from Istanbul to the border and return to Komotini, arriving late in the evening.
After breakfast, we visit the old town of Xanthi, famous for its picturesque streets and beautiful mansions. Free time for shopping or sightseeing. In the afternoon, we head to Thessaloniki Airport, where we’ll arrive with wonderful memories and the fulfillment of yet another dream.
