Meet at Larnaca airport and take a direct flight to Venice, the world’s most romantic city, built on 118 small islands connected by about 410 bridges. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Venice is a city of timeless charm. From Tronchetto, we take a vaporetto (own expense) to the Castello district, where we visit the Orthodox Church of St. George and the Byzantine Institute. Walking through narrow streets and picturesque bridges, we reach the Doge's Palace, a Venetian Gothic marvel, and then St. Mark’s Square, referred to by Napoleon as "the most beautiful drawing room in Europe". Highlights include St. Mark's Basilica, the Bell Tower, the Clock Tower, and the Correr Museum. We’ll also visit a Murano glass workshop. Free time, then transfer to Milan, the financial capital of Italy. Hotel check-in and overnight.
After breakfast, panoramic tour of Milan, visiting Sforza Castle, the Duomo Square, the famous Milan Cathedral, and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a 19th-century shopping gallery. We'll also pass La Scala Opera House, one of the world’s most famous theaters. Next, we head to enchanting Lake Como, known for its romantic and cosmopolitan flair. Surrounded by lush hills and the Alps in the background, it offers stunning scenery. Stroll through Como’s historic center before returning to Milan. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, departure for Lake Maggiore, Italy’s second-largest lake, famous for its beautiful islands. Optionally, take a mini-cruise to the islands of Isola Madre, Isola Bella, and Isola dei Pescatori. Free time in the stylish resort town of Stresa, then return to Milan. Overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure for the stunning Italian Riviera, where the Alps and the Apennines meet the sea. First stop: Genoa, with its rich history and vibrant atmosphere. Panoramic tour includes San Lorenzo Cathedral, Piazza de Ferrari, the Opera House, and the Doge's Palace. Continue to Santa Margherita, where we take a boat to Portofino, the jewel of the Italian Riviera, known for its colorful buildings, stylish boutiques, and glamorous marina. Then, we travel to Nice, capital of the French Riviera. Hotel check-in and overnight.
After breakfast, panoramic tour of Nice, including Promenade des Anglais, Negresco Hotel, Masséna Square, Garibaldi Square, and the Nice Cathedral. Then we visit glamorous Cannes, with the famous Croisette Boulevard, its beaches, historic hotels, and the Cannes Film Festival Palace. Free time for strolls and coffee. Later, visit the medieval village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, known for its art galleries, cobbled streets, and historic architecture. Return to Nice. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, we head to the medieval town of Eze for a visit to the Fragonard perfume factory. Then on to the Principality of Monaco, where we see the Royal Palace, residence of the Grimaldi family since the 13th century, the Cathedral of Our Lady, and the Oceanographic Museum, once directed by Jacques-Yves Cousteau. Free time in the Old Town. Return to Nice in the evening. Overnight stay.
Breakfast and transfer to Milan Airport for the return flight to Larnaca. Arrival with beautiful memories from a unique journey through the Riviera and the lakes of Northern Italy.
