Meet at Larnaca airport for your flight to Athens. Upon arrival, transfer to the women's monastery of Saint Ephraim in Nea Makri. Free time for pilgrimage, then continue to our hotel in central Athens. Check-in and free time for the rest of the day. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to the port of Rafina to take the ferry to Tinos. Upon arrival, transfer to the Church of Panagia Evangelistria, perched on a hill, dominating over the town. The magnificent church was founded in 1823, at the site where the icon of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary was found, according to Saint Pelagia’s vision. Free time to explore the church, then walk down to the harbor for an optional lunch and stroll along the "old road," a beautiful historic route lined with shops selling souvenirs. In the afternoon, return by ferry to Rafina and then to the hotel.
After breakfast, join your guide for a tour to explore the beautiful corners of Athens.
After breakfast, transfer to the port of Piraeus for the ferry to Aegina. Enjoy a tour around the island. The first stop is at the Monastery of the Miraculous Saint Nektarios, the island's patron saint. Saint Nektarios lived here for 12 years, from 1908 until his death in 1920. Visit the church of the Holy Trinity, founded by him in 1908. Today, beside this church, there is another dedicated to Saint Nektarios, and further ahead is the small chapel housing his tomb. Free time for sightseeing. Continue to the archaeological site of Aphaia Athena, with an optional visit to enjoy the stunning view. On clear days, you can see the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion and the Acropolis of Athens. Next, head to Agia Marina for free time to relax, enjoy lunch, and swim in the crystal-clear waters. Later, return to Aegina town for some free time to enjoy a coffee and discover the famous local pistachio products. Return to the hotel in Athens in the evening.
After breakfast, head to Mount Parnitha, the highest mountain in Attica (1,400 meters). Take the cable car to the mountain's peak. Those who wish can try their luck at the casino for about 2.5 hours, while others can visit the Bafi Refuge, where an optional lunch will be served with homemade traditional dishes and pies. In the afternoon, return to the hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time. In the afternoon, depart for the Athenian Riviera, a stunning coastal route along the Saronic Gulf. We’ll pass through Glyfada, Voula, and Lake Vouliagmeni, stopping at Varkiza for free time to enjoy the beach and fresh fish or seafood. Continuing to Sounion, visit the Temple of Poseidon, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and take photos. Return to the airport for your flight back to Larnaca.
