Gathering at Larnaca Airport and departure with an Aegean flight to the city of sensations and colors, Marrakech. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our representatives and depart for Casablanca, the cinematic city of Morocco. Arrival and panoramic city tour. During the tour, we will admire the King Hassan II Mosque, Mohamed V Square, and then explore the central market of Casablanca, the famous, affluent district of Anfa with its beautifully flowered buildings, and the Corniche coastal boulevard overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, departure for Rabat, the white imperial city, which in Arabic means "refuge." During the tour, we will see, among other landmarks, the King Hassan II Palace, the magnificent Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Medina, and the Oudayas Kasbah, the symbol of Rabat and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This traditional settlement, a fortress - a city within a city - was built in the 12th century by the Almohad dynasty. Next, we head along the coast to the legendary Tangier. The city has been inhabited by the Phoenicians, Romans, Vandals, Arabs, and by major colonial powers such as the Portuguese, Spanish, British, and French. Today, it is a cosmopolitan city that enchants and evokes scenes from films and novels. Arrival and guided tour of the old town and the souks of Tangier. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
After breakfast, departure for the famous Chefchaouen, the "blue city" as it is called, due to the dominant blue color that covers the houses of the Medina (old town). Built at the foot of the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen became known for its picturesque charm and its blue color. Houses, walls, doors, windows, flower pots, alleys, and stairs are all painted in various shades of blue. Despite its significant tourist popularity, Chefchaouen has managed to retain its authenticity and character, which makes it even more beloved by visitors! The Medina of Chefchaouen is a blue painting on an Oriental canvas that will make you literally lose yourself in its narrow streets, as it is a labyrinth. The blue color follows every step you take, and every alley, house, and window is a unique photo opportunity. The Outta El Hamma Square, located in the heart of the Medina, is perhaps the most visited spot in the city, with traditional cafes and restaurants. We then continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the city of Meknes, also known as the "Moroccan Versailles," founded in the late 17th century by Ismail Ibn Sharif. We will see the best-preserved gate in the country, Bab Mansour, and the old Medina. Finally, we arrive at our last destination, the city of Fez, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, the day is dedicated to the atmospheric city of Fez, the oldest cultural and spiritual city in the country. Aside from the modern city that has expanded around the historic center, Fez remains the heart of Morocco, its cultural and religious center. We begin our tour with a visit to the unique and colorful Medina of Fez, the only urban area in the world without cars. We will also visit the Karaouine Mosque and the famous Nejjarine Fountain. Next, as we explore the old Medina, we will witness different artisans still working today based on ancient Eastern traditions. In Fez, you can also buy everything in the souks – from tea to babouches (the traditional, colorful slippers), silverware, precious stones, handmade carpets, and of course, leather goods. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we embark on a guided tour of Marrakesh. Located at the crossroads of important trade routes, Marrakesh is known as the "Pearl of the South" and the "Red City," with its distinctive red hue. During our sightseeing tour, we will visit the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, and the Menara Gardens. Next, we will continue to the bustling central square of Jemaa el-Fnaa, also known as the Square of Wonders. Here, countless street vendors sell souvenirs, clothes, spices, and tajine – the traditional clay cooking vessel with a conical lid used for slow-cooking dishes. You will also encounter snake charmers, acrobats, jugglers, musicians, and other entertainers who make this square one of the largest outdoor spectacles, continuing well into the night. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay
After breakfast, we depart for a day trip to the Ourika Valley, located at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and named after the Ourika River that flows through it. Situated just 30 kilometers from Marrakesh, the valley is rich in flora and fauna. The area is inhabited by Berber people who still live in traditional ways. The valley is a popular destination due to its many waterfalls, and despite being so close to the cosmopolitan Marrakesh, it remains pristine and unspoiled. After the visit, we return to the hotel. In the afternoon, you have free time to explore the hidden corners of Marrakesh. For the evening, we suggest an optional dinner at the famous "Chez Ali" restaurant, where you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan feast under colorful tents with a magnificent folkloric show. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will depart for Marrakesh Airport to catch our return flight, carrying with us unforgettable memories of the imperial Morocco, its stunning colors, fragrant spice markets, and authentic open-air bazaars. End of the tour with amazing experiences and memories from the heart of Morocco.
