There are many reasons to love Warsaw. We offer you a short trip to discover them…Gathering at Larnaca airport and departure with a direct flight to Warsaw. Arrival, reception by our representatives and transfer to the hotel. Check-in to the rooms and time at your disposal. Among the many Christmas markets in the city, the one that is set up every Christmas on Castle Square, right in front of the crimson facade of the Royal Castle of Warsaw and the Palace of Culture and Science, certainly stands out, since it is by far the largest. You simply cannot miss it if you want to taste the most authentic side of genuine, festive Polish revelry. Get ready for plenty of Christmas wine, delicious treats, and countless holiday decorations and souvenirs to remember your holidays in Poland forever.
Breakfast and on the tour we will see the Old Town Square with its colorful buildings and the Royal Castle, which is located at the entrance to the Old Town and is a historical and national monument. Then, we will see the Castle Square, dominated by the 22-meter column of King Zygmunt and the Royal Castle which was rebuilt after the Nazi destruction. We cannot miss the monumental Palace of Culture and Science, a gift from Stalin to Warsaw, the Wielki Grand Theatre, which houses the opera and ballet, the Baroque Krasinski Palace, one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, the Royal Gardens, the Jewish Ghetto, the house of Marie Kozlówka Curie, who was awarded the Nobel Prize, and the statue of Frederic Chopin, which adorns the gardens of the Łazienski Palace.
Breakfast and free days at your leisure. We suggest you take your walks in the central square of the old town which is decorated in the spirit of Christmas with the picturesque open-air markets, and even enjoy a glass of mulled wine and local specialties such as hot soup in a crust of bread or traditional dumplings with all kinds of fillings. You can enjoy the local cuisine of Warsaw, or have your drink or a cold beer in one of the various bars of the city on top of one of its skyscrapers. We suggest you visit the underground and more alternative corner of the city, the 'Prague district'. There you will have the opportunity to see a more artistic side of the city with galleries, cultural venues, antique shops and various bars. For families, we recommend the exciting 'Copernicus Science Center'. It is an interactive museum, where you can not only see, but also participate in activities. The children will love it and you will be thrilled!
Breakfast and transfer to the airport to take the return flight loaded with beautiful Christmas images from sparkling Warsaw.
