Gathering at Larnaca airport and departure for Stockholm with a stopover. Whatever can be said about this city, with its impressive architecture, both old and new, innovation, modern design, unparalleled cleanliness, and high quality of life, will always be an understatement. Arrival, transfer to the hotel, check-in, and overnight.
After breakfast, we will embark on a guided tour of one of the most civilized cities in the world. In this city built on 14 islands connected by bridges, we will visit the Royal Palace complex, the Swedish Pantheon, and the Riddarholm Church. Optionally, you can visit the Golden Hall at the City Hall, where the Nobel Prizes are awarded. We will then continue to the famous Vasa Museum, which houses the Vasa warship. The Vasa sank during its maiden voyage in 1628, but after being raised from the sea after 333 years, it is now one of the most beautifully preserved 17th-century ships, with hundreds of carved sculptures. (Optional entry). The rest of the day is free for your leisure. Overnight.
After breakfast, today is a free day for you to explore the medieval old town of Stockholm (Gamla Stan) with its cobblestone streets, picturesque squares, and charming cafés. This area is one of the most important sights of the city. You can enjoy shopping as Stockholm is the cheapest Scandinavian capital. You can also visit the world-famous ABBA Museum. If you prefer nature, we recommend visiting Skansen, an open-air museum-park that takes you back in time. The reconstructions of 18th and 19th-century rural life are so realistic that visitors feel as though they are living in the past. Overnight.
After breakfast, we will board a ferry for a cruise to the beautiful and innovative Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Overnight on the ferry.
Breakfast on the ferry. Arrival in Helsinki, transfer, and a guided tour of the city, which will impress you with its neoclassical and Art Nouveau buildings as well as modern design. We will visit the Cathedral, the beautiful central square with the University and Library, the Presidential Palace, the City Hall, the Opera, the Temppeliaukio Church (Rock Church), the Olympic Village, the monument to the national composer Jean Sibelius, and the famous Kauppatori market, surrounded by beautiful 19th-century buildings. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to continue discovering Helsinki. We recommend visiting the Design District, full of shops, clothing stores, and antiques, all brimming with originality and creative imagination. Don’t forget to try Finnish cuisine, which has influences from Russian and Swedish cuisine. Fish, meats, potatoes, and fruits (especially berries) are the primary ingredients in many dishes here. Overnight.
After breakfast, we will depart from Helsinki by ferry to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, often referred to as the "Queen of the Baltic." Tallinn is a beautiful city, with one of the best-preserved medieval old towns in Europe. Arrival, transfer, and guided tour. We will walk through the walled old town, which could be considered a museum of medieval architecture. We will visit the Town Hall with its tall tower visible from most of the city, the Toompea Castle built by the Knights of the Order in the 13th century, the impressive Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, the Gothic-style Cathedral, and more. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Overnight.
Breakfast. A free day to continue exploring the enchanting Tallinn. The picturesque old town, with its medieval walls, Gothic towers, and cobbled streets, transports you to another era. Tallinn is one of the most beautiful Baltic capitals and will charm even the most demanding traveler. Be sure to try the local cuisine, which consists mainly of meats, fish, and delicious soups. Overnight.
