Day 1 LARNACA – BARCELONA – VALENCIA

Meeting at Larnaca airport and departure on a direct flight to Barcelona. Upon arrival, we continue immediately to Valencia, Spain’s third-largest city. Welcome to the birthplace of paella and the land of oranges! During our panoramic tour, we’ll see the City of Arts and Sciences — a stunning complex designed by the renowned architect Santiago Calatrava — the Town Hall Square, and the old town with the Cathedral and the Micalet Tower, a symbol of Valencia. The city is filled with Romanesque and Gothic buildings, while also showcasing Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. In the evening, we recommend exploring the atmospheric old town with its charming cobbled streets, hidden squares, and cozy cafés. Don’t miss trying traditional specialties such as meat paella or fideuà (thin noodles with seafood), accompanied by local wines. Overnight stay.

Day 2 VALENCIA – MADRID

After breakfast, departure for the elegant capital of Spain, Madrid. Upon arrival, we’ll begin our guided city tour. Highlights include the Royal Palace (Palacio Real), former residence of the Spanish monarchy until 1931, Puerta del Sol, various government buildings including the Spanish Parliament, the Prado Museum complex — Spain’s most prestigious art gallery — and Atocha, the city’s historic train station. After hotel check-in, the rest of the day is free. Take a stroll through the iconic Plaza Mayor with its lively restaurants and cafés, or visit the Mercado de San Miguel, a foodie’s paradise filled with fresh fruit cocktails, cheese, cured meats (like the famous jamón), seafood, and grilled meats. Overnight stay.

Day 3 MADRID – TOLEDO – MADRID

After breakfast, we head to historic Toledo — once the capital of the Romans, Visigoths, Moors, the Kingdom of Castile, and Spanish royalty until 1560. On our tour, we will visit the Gothic Cathedral (construction began in 1226 and was completed in 1492) and see works by the great Greek painter Domenikos Theotokopoulos, known in Spain as El Greco. We will also visit the Church of Santo Tomé, home to his masterpiece The Burial of the Count of Orgaz. Return to Madrid with free time for shopping along the bustling Gran Vía. In the evening, we recommend enjoying a traditional Flamenco show. Overnight stay.

Day 4 MADRID

Breakfast and a free day at your leisure. Madrid is known for its excellent cuisine, its legendary football club Real Madrid and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, as well as its bullfighting traditions — still a part of the local culture despite growing opposition. Art lovers can visit two iconic museums: the Reina Sofía (home to Picasso’s famous Guernica) and the world-renowned Prado Museum. Alternatively, stroll through the vast and beautiful Retiro Park, an urban oasis filled with monuments and sculptures. Don’t miss the opportunity to rent a boat and enjoy the lake and the grand monument overlooking it. Overnight stay.

Day 5 MADRID – ZARAGOZA – BARCELONA

After breakfast, we depart for cosmopolitan Barcelona. En route, we’ll stop in Zaragoza to explore its charming old town and visit the famous Cathedral Square. Free time to wander through its picturesque alleys before continuing on to Barcelona, where we’ll arrive in the late afternoon. Hotel check-in and overnight stay.

Day 6 BARCELONA

Breakfast followed by a panoramic city tour of the Catalan capital. We will explore the iconic works of Antoni Gaudí, including the world-famous (yet still unfinished) Sagrada Familia. We’ll also visit Plaça Catalunya and view Gaudí’s remarkable buildings, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, on the elegant Passeig de Gràcia. We’ll ascend Montjuïc Hill for panoramic views of the city and a look at the 1992 Olympic facilities. Continuing past the Columbus Monument, we’ll end in the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic). The rest of the day is free to explore Barcelona at your own pace. Stroll the charming alleys of the Gothic Quarter, walk along the famous pedestrian street Las Ramblas, or visit the vibrant Boqueria Market to sample Catalan delicacies. Don’t forget to try traditional tapas. Overnight stay.

Day 7 BARCELONA – MONTSERRAT – BARCELONA

After breakfast, we head to Montserrat and its Benedictine monastery, nestled in the scenic mountains of Catalonia. This historic site dates back to 880 A.D., when a statue of the Virgin Mary was discovered in a cave. Free time to browse the local shops around the monastery or enjoy coffee with breathtaking views of the region. Return to Barcelona with a free afternoon to visit Park Güell — another Gaudí masterpiece filled with whimsical architecture — the city’s impressive aquarium, or the world-famous Camp Nou stadium. In the evening, enjoy the lively seaside promenade and sip on a refreshing sangria. Overnight stay.
