Gathering at Larnaca Airport and departure for the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, with a layover in Dubai. Overnight on the plane and arrival the next day. After the entry process into the country and reception by girls in traditional costumes, Hanoi welcomes us with unique style and charm, as it strongly retains traces of French colonialism and is the economic and cultural center of Northern Vietnam. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Free time for rest. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, our exploration of Hanoi, the "silver city" with its seven lakes and dozens of pagodas, begins with a visit to the Ethnology Museum with its rich exhibits and the Temple of Literature. We continue our sightseeing with a visit to the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and the picturesque Huc Bridge. Our tour ends in the charming streets of the Old Quarter for shopping. In the afternoon, we invite you to watch an interesting water puppet show. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure for the stunning Halong Bay, which is unique and one of the natural wonders of the planet. We will enjoy a cruise with traditional boats. Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a dream for nature lovers, with hundreds of towering, lush green rocks scattered across the sea, islands of strange shapes forming countless pristine beaches and stunning caves. During the cruise, you will enjoy a meal with fresh seafood and visit two of the most beautiful caves in the area (Thien Cung & Dau Go). In the afternoon, we return to Hanoi. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport for a flight to Da Nang. Arrival, pick-up, and we will follow one of the most beautiful routes in Vietnam to reach the city of Hoi An. On the way, we will visit the important Cham Museum and the "Marble Mountains" with caves. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will depart to visit the impressive and highly-photographed "Golden Bridge" in the Ba Na Hills. Suspended over 1,400 meters above sea level, the bridge appears to be held up by two giant hands emerging from the hills, which, although they look like stone, are made of steel. We return to Hoi An for a tour of the traditional streets of the city, which during the 16th century was one of the largest commercial centers in Southeast Asia. Our sightseeing includes, among others, the covered Japanese Bridge, the Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Fukienese Temple, built in 1692 by the Chinese Phuoc Kien, and a traditional silk workshop. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure for Da Nang Airport to take a short flight to the legendary Saigon, now renamed Ho Chi Minh City. The old neoclassical buildings and the beautiful city planning exude its pre-war splendor. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Then, we will have a city tour. Among other things, we will see the War Museum with exhibits from the Vietnam War with the USA, the Palace, the city's Cathedral, and the famous Post Office building, designed by the renowned French architect Eiffel. If there is time, we will visit the bustling Ben Thanh Market for shopping. In the evening, we will enjoy a dinner cruise on the Saigon River to admire the illuminated city. Overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure for the Mekong River Delta for a wonderful excursion, where we will have the chance to see the lifestyle of the local people. We will board a boat for a cruise on the Ben Tre River. Along the river, we will admire the lush tropical vegetation, rice plantations, and tropical fruit orchards, as well as the daily activities of the locals. We will also have the opportunity to walk through the narrow streets of a traditional village, experience their way of life, and taste delicious tropical fruits. Afterwards, we will board the boat again to return to the bus. Return to Saigon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast and continue our sightseeing in Saigon with a visit to the famous and labyrinthine Cu Chi Tunnels, which were entire cities during the Vietnam War and served as hideouts for the Viet Cong. After the tour, we will transfer to the airport for a flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Arrival, pick-up, and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will visit the Angkor archaeological site, built in the jungle. It is an unparalleled experience, as the magnificent Khmer architectural monuments are undoubtedly the grandest in Asia. We will start at the Western Gate and Angkor Thom Temple and continue to the Southern Gate, where we will admire the unique Bayon Temple and the ruins of the former palace, as well as the famous Elephant Terrace and the Leper King Terrace. Next, we will visit the amazing Buddhist temple Ta Prohm, with its huge tree trunks rising from the walls and literally embracing the monuments. The temple became world-famous from Hollywood movies. We continue to the famous and largest Angkor Wat temple, built in the 12th century as the main temple and capital of the kingdom. Since 1992, it has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple is the symbol of Cambodia and the country's main tourist attraction. We will finish our tour with a visit to Pre Rup, one of the oldest temples, and if the weather permits, we will enjoy the sunset from the top. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we invite you to a unique experience, where you can participate in a private "good luck" ceremony at a pagoda by local monks, who will then give you a small amulet to remind you of this experience. Afterwards, we will depart for Cambodia's capital, Phnom Penh. On the way, we will stop to admire the Kampong Bridge. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast and we start our tour of the city with a visit to the magnificent Royal Palace and the famous Silver Pagoda, whose floor is made of 5,000 silver tiles weighing one kilogram each. We continue with a visit to the Tuol Sleng Museum, a former school turned into an interrogation and torture center by the Khmer Rouge (Red Khmer). Today, it serves as a museum to remind visitors of the horrific crimes committed by the Khmer Rouge. Our tour continues with a visit to the Killing Fields, 17 km south of Phnom Penh, specifically "Choeung Ek," an old Chinese cemetery turned into an extermination camp with mass graves by the Khmer Rouge. Today, it is a peaceful and lush place that hardly resembles its past. In the afternoon, we will transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for the return flight. Arrival in Larnaca on the morning of the 13th day, filled with unforgettable images that will remain etched in our memory forever.
